Frequently Asked Questions
1. How does vehicle shipping work?
First, request get a quote online or
call us directly, then book your order by the same means, when your order is
booked we will assign a driver and a customer service representative will call you to inform you
of this. On average you will be given 4 to 8 hours lead time for the pick
up or delivery of your vehicle.
2. Do I have to be present when you pick up my vehicle?
Either you, or a designated person,
must be present upon pick up of your vehicle. You or the designated person will
go through a vehicle inspection with the driver. You or the designated person
will then sign the inspection sheet indicating that it is agreed that there is
not existing damage to the vehicle. However if there is any existing damages the
driver will take note and put this information on the inspection sheet. This is
done before loading it on the truck, the same inspection is done upon delivery.
3. How do I pay, and what types of payments do you accept?
Unlike most other companies, we do not bill your card until the vehicle is to be
dispatched for pickup. The preferred method is for us to charge a small
deposit to your credit card and then you or the designated person can pay the
driver at the delivery point in cash, cashiers check or money order. We also accept prepayments ( All paid up front,
service fee will apply) bank deposits, cashiers checks, money orders and PayPal. We accept the following credit cards, American Express, MasterCard, Visa and
Discover.
4. What is door-to-door transport?
Door-To-Door means that we arrange
for pickup and delivery at the address you specify (subject to accessibility and
local laws). You do not have to go to a terminal to pick up or drop off your
vehicle. However please understand that certain areas and road sizes are not
designed for or are restricted for use by such large trucks. If this is the case
the driver will contact you or the designated person at the pick up or delivery and inform
you / them which action to take in order to coordinate the exchange. Typically the drivers
will ask to be met in the nearest and largest parking lot. Shipments that
require ocean freight are not eligible for the Door to Door service but may be
eligible for a Door to port, or Port to Door service.
5. Can you arrange a terminal service?
Terminal services can be arranged,
however terminals do charge additional fees and therefore we prefer to give our
customers door to door service whenever possible to avoid unnecessary charges.
Subsequently we do not suggest the use of terminals unless the are undeniably
required.
6. Can you ship inoperable or unusual vehicles?
Yes, we are capable of transporting
vehicle that do not run, these are considered "INOPS". For inoperable vehicles,
please let us know at the time of booking so we can assign the correct driver /
truck combination. We basically need the year, make, model and the
dimensions of the vehicle you wish to have us transport.

Yes, We maintain a surety bond
registered with the federal government pursuant to 49 U.S.C. ยง13906(b) and are
registered mandated by by the the "FMCSA" Federal Motor Carrier Safety
Administration and the the "DOT" Department Of Transportation. All
trucks are fully insured and are operated by highly trained certified drivers.
8. On what kind of transporter will my vehicle be carried?
Most are transported via multiple
car carriers, the same type used to transport new vehicles from the
manufacturing plant to dealerships. However if you request an enclosed transport
your vehicle will be transported in an enclosed truck. If your vehicle is an
oversized vehicle such as an RV or construction equipment then it will be
transported on a flatbed truck.
9. How much notice do I have to give in order to arrange a pick up?
We recommend that you book your
order 10 days in advance, however if you need to move your car immediately, we
will work with you on an individual basis to accommodate your needs.
10. Is my vehicle insured during shipment?
Yes, your vehicle will be fully
insured up to the highest bluebook value from the time it is picked up until the
time it is delivered. If your vehicle is no longer listed in the Blue Book then
it will be valued according to the Fair Market Value. Each truck has a
policy that will cover your vehicle in the event of any unforeseen damages.
11. Can I ship personal items in my vehicle?
Typically no, however some people do
place a few items in the trunk of the car. Please note the department of
transportation does not allow the transportation of" personal items" in a
vehicle that is being hauled by an auto carrier, items packed in your car are
not covered by the motor carrier's insurance (only your vehicle is). However if
you need to put a few non breakable non valued items such as books, shoes or clothing we can allow
