1. Objects of Agreement

Interstate Auto Movers (IAM) is licensed and bonded by the FMCSA and has been granted the authority to arrange vehicle transport and does agree to arrange vehicle(s) described on the agreement shipped on or about the dates available depending on the transporters schedule.  IAM does not guarantee specific pickup or delivery dates.  Pickup and delivery dates are purely estimates.    

This order is subject to all terms and conditions of the straight bill of lading. Once a transporter has been assigned to your order, the bill of lading will then be the only agreement in effect along with the terms and conditions of the transporter assigned to your order.

The transporter will not be responsible for any damages not resulting from the customers negligence. The customer verifies the vehicle is free of contents, to and including the trunk, therefore the customer assumes full responsibility for any personal items left in the vehicle. 

IAM will not be responsible for any damages caused by freezing of engine, cooling system, batteries, or due to leaking fluids, exhaust systems, or any mechanical function damage to include engine, transmission, rear end, drive trains, wiring systems, air bags, clutches, computerized components (anything that is mechanical or electrical).  IAM will not be responsible for any convertible tops that are loose, torn, or have visible wear.  This includes any canvas or material coverings.
 
The customer is responsible for preparing the vehicle for transport, Including: disarming any alarms, removing any loose parts, accessories, hanging spoilers, etc. Any part of the vehicle that falls off during transport is the customer's responsibility including damages caused to any and all other vehicles involved.

IAM's transport services does not allow provisions for any type of compensation for late deliveries or pickups such as auto rental, hotel expense, airfare or any form of reimbursement for said technicalities.  

If a the transport truck is sent to retrieve or deliver the vehicle and the vehicle is not at the specified location or if the vehicle is unavailable or the customer refuses the release then additional fees could apply which could be added to your transport order for the rescheduling of your order with our dispatching department for. 

The vehicle owner or customer must in their absence, designate a proxy to act as their agent at the point of pickup or delivery.  Said proxy will be indicated in the customer records.
 

All vehicles to be delivered with a balance owing shall be paid by CASH or CASHIER'S CHECK ONLY (U.S. Dollars) payable as designated by IAM. Should delivery be attempted after proper notification (3-24 hours voice notification to phone numbers provided by customer/shipper) and customer/shipper or proxy does not have proper funds or is unavailable to receive delivery, vehicle(s) will be taken to and left at the nearest storage terminal, where shipper is responsible for all storage fees and redelivery fees.  It is the customer's responsibility to have payment in full when the  transporter arrives. If transporter notices that he is unable to drive to the address at the time of delivery the customer agrees to meet the transporter at a nearby location.

The customer agrees that should this vehicle become inoperative for any reason at pickup or during transport, an additional fee could apply at the time of delivery.

The transporter has primary insurance responsibility From pick up to delivery of your vehicle.  All claims for damages will be need to be settled with the transporter assigned to the customers vehicle transport.  IAM will be happy to assist you with your claim to the transporter.  For further information refer to the transporters bill of lading for information regarding the claim process. The customer agrees that this is the only contract between the parties covering the arrangement of transport and no other agreements or contracts are in effect until arrangement of scheduling has been made with an authorized carrier, at this time the transporters contract and bill of lading will be in effect immediately. No claims or legal action for vehicle damages of any kind may be initiated against IAM.  Exceptions for damages must be noted on the post transport inspection form at the time of delivery.

Customers may cancel their order 10 full days days prior to the first estimated pickup date.  All cancellations must be made in writing by mail and delivered ONLY by U.S. Registered or Certified Mail to Interstate Auto Movers 9221 E. Baseline Rd. Suite A-109 #181 Mesa, Az 85212 and shall be deemed sufficient notice of cancellation under this agreement.  In some cases, if after all reasonable efforts are made to ensure the move of your vehicle are exhausted, customer service may contact you to discuss different options for better movement of your vehicle. However, if in fact your vehicle is not scheduled for pickup within 30 days from your first available date, you are entitled to a 50% refund of your administration  fee.  All refunds may take up to 7 days for processing. 

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel services to anyone for incidents such as,
threats or harassment.  This will result in the immediate cancellation of your service order and the administration fee will not be refunded.
